2.Who spends more $$$ online, men or women?  Proportion? (%, $)

Men tend to spend to spend more on random things. The survey of 6,250 web shoppers found that men expected to spend an average of $326 versus $284 for women, America Online Inc. said. On a monthly basis, men spend an average of $204, compared with $186 for women.” (http://www.opentechsupport.net/forum/general-news/30799-men-spend-more-than-woman-online.html It is a fact that most men do hate shopping, only because they have to get up and go to the mall. The problem is what kind of man goes to the mall these days? They usually just have their wives or girlfriends shop for them.

3. Who spends more time online, men or women?

Men spend more time on the web because there are more variety for them to buy. Men research or browse online an average of 31 times a month versus 22 times for women" (http://www.opentechsupport.net/forum/general-news/30799-men-spend-more-than-woman-online.html)   So men do spend more online. Not because they are shopping, but because they have more access to internet when they're at home lounging around, or at work, or playing video games.

4. What advantage do marketers have for women shopping online than men?

Women tend to be spontaneous and buy more, when men don't really care for anything. They just seem to think that it is something that's not useful to them at all. Researches have more dependability on women because they're more likely to answer research questions because they want more from the store or help from their purchase.
